Vanessa was such an amazing help on our wedding day!
We engaged Vanessa quite late in the process, a few weeks out from our wedding date, after three prior Covid postponements. We had a DIY wedding at my parent's property in late January 2022 and we had done the planning ourselves. It was all very stressful coordinating vendors and dealing with the peak of Covid cases, so we decided to engage with a professional for the on the day coordination. And thank goodness we did! Vanessa was an absolute life saver and really helped take the stress out of the day so we could enjoy ourselves.
Vanessa made contact with all our vendors in advance, to introduce herself, establish what time each vendor would be arriving and ensure they knew she was the point of contact should any issues arrive on the day. She even reached out to both our mums and offered to help them with anything they needed, which was really lovely and appreciated.
On the day, all the vendors worked so well together and I truly believe this was because of Vanessa's excellent coordination skills. Any issue that arose, Vanessa dealt with promptly an effectively.
Vanessa did so much for us, helped us sort out our run-sheet, styled the ceremony and reception spaces, set up the ceremony chairs and moved chairs from ceremony location to reception location, kept us to schedule and even did some floral arranging and cake decorating.
The biggest help Vanessa provided was in executing our wet weather plan. We have planned to have an outdoor ceremony under some fig trees a couple of hundred metres from the marquee location. The day was overcast but approx 45 mins before guests arrived it started raining. We held off making a call to switch to the wet weather option, thinking it would quickly blow over. It didn't! Eventually the call was made to switch the ceremony to the marquee and Vanessa mobilised amazingly, moving all the chairs and floral arrangements for the ceremony. This was a massive job and she worked so hard in the pouring rain to get it done, really going above and beyond. She truly saved the day and we are so appreciative of how hard she worked to help us.
Vanessa was also friendly, polite and incredibly lovely to be around. Nothing was too much and Vanessa pitched in and did whatever was required. We were really able to relax and enjoy ourselves knowing Vanessa had everything in control. I know there is no way I would have been so at ease and happy had we not had Vanessa steering the ship. My only regret is not engaging her for wedding planning earlier in the process!

Where do we even begin!? To say Vanessa was amazing is an absolute understatement. From the first moment we spoke I knew we were going to get along great. Our wedding guests asked me quite a few times "do you know Vanessa?" or "is she a friend of yours?". Her attention to detail was second to none and nothing was ever an issue for her. She made sure everything ran smoothly and had this special way of making sure my nerves were kept at bay. We honestly couldn't have asked for anyone better to be there on our special day. Having a DIY wedding was A LOT to think about (especially during a global pandemic) and Vanessa was a great help from the beginning. She stayed in regular contact and assisted by thinking of all the little bits and bobs that are easily missed.
